It is twilight in a secret garden: a crescent moon hangs in an indigo sky, and a luminous creek winds through the middle of the card. Three tiny fairies flutter above the water, surrounded by tall pink foxgloves, pale morning glories, spotted mushrooms and dozens of glowing fireflies.
The whole scene is painted in detailed watercolor with a soft inner glow, so the light seems to come from the fireflies and the water. Gold flourishes and small flowers decorate the lettering.
“A Magical Seventh” is set in an ornate gilded serif, with the child's name and age in soft rose beneath. The date, time, place and RSVP sit in a small panel at the bottom in a readable serif.
