Loose watercolor lemons, white lemon blossoms and silvery olive branches with green and dark olives climb in from the corners of a warm ivory sheet. Tucked among them are cobalt blue tile motifs in the style of hand-painted Mediterranean ceramics, and a faint coastline with hills and shoreline buildings sits in the distance at the top.
The painting stays at the edges on purpose. The middle of the card is open paper, so the couple's names can be set large in a refined, high-contrast serif and read clearly from across a table.
Date, time, venue and RSVP sit below in small, widely spaced capitals, separated by a thin blue ornament. The result is formal but relaxed: sunlit rather than stiff, which suits outdoor, coastal and destination weddings.
