“Farewell to the Twenties” spans the top of a black card in three lines, the two big words stacked around a much smaller “to the”, and “Morgan Turns 30” sits between two fine burgundy rules just beneath. Under the name, a slim crescent moon hangs among dark wisps of cloud and a few pinprick stars, and below it an antique hourglass with turned posts stands at the center, its sand settled in the lower bulb. On each side a lit ivory pillar candle, wax running down its sides, rises from an ornate metal candlestick, and full roses in burgundy, crimson and near-black crowd in around the candlesticks and the hourglass, their leafy stems climbing both edges of the card to buds level with the title. Ivory scrollwork curls around the whole border under a burgundy palmette at the top center, and the details sit at the bottom in a parchment cartouche with bracket-cut corners, a burgundy outline and a small burgundy crest on top.
It is drawn like a Victorian engraving printed on black stock: every petal, leaf and scroll is built from fine ivory hatching and cross-hatching, so the shadows look carved rather than painted, and a faint grain runs through the dark background. Color is held back to ivory, burgundy and crimson, with deep red filigree tucked along the outer edge, and the only real glow comes from the two small candle flames, which keeps the mood hushed, romantic and a little nostalgic rather than scary. No people are drawn and there is no photo slot; the candles, roses, moon and hourglass carry the whole card.
“Farewell” and “Twenties” are set in tall antique serif capitals with oversized first letters, their ivory strokes shaded with engraved lines so they seem cut into the page, while “to the” sits between them in small capitals flanked by little curling flourishes. “Morgan Turns 30” follows in an evenly spaced ivory serif, smaller and plainer than the headline. Inside the cartouche, near-black serif capitals list “Saturday, April 17”, “7:00 - 11:00 PM”, “Candlewick Hall” and “RSVP in Inviti by April 10”, each line divided from the next by a thin burgundy rule with a small ornament at its center.

Every piece below was made in this design with Inviti. Matching pieces are a Pro feature, and each one you request is a separate generation, so yours will follow this direction without being pixel-identical.

It will follow this design's direction: large engraved ivory serif lettering over two lit candles, a crescent moon and an antique hourglass among burgundy and near-black roses, framed in ivory scrollwork on black, with the details in a parchment cartouche. Because Inviti generates each invitation with AI from your details, the arrangement and lettering can differ from this sample.
Yes, with one change in the wording. The headline says goodbye to a decade, so a 40th becomes “Farewell to the thirties” above “Morgan turns 40”, and a 50th “Farewell to the forties”. The candles, roses, moon and hourglass carry no number, and an hourglass suits any milestone. Enter both the farewell line and the age with your details, then check that they agree in the version Inviti generates.
Not by design. There are no skulls, bats, pumpkins or cobwebs anywhere on the card; the gothic feel comes from candlelight, dark roses, a crescent moon and Victorian scrollwork, which reads as romantic and dramatic rather than frightening. That makes it suitable for a thirtieth in any month. If you would like guests to dress the part, add a line such as “Black attire, please” with your details.
Yes. The invitation is designed at 5×7 inches, and the app's print preparation can lay out copies on A4 or US Letter with crop marks. Dark designs print best on matte paper; generate at full resolution rather than the introductory 1K size.
With Pro you can request matching pieces such as a party menu, a welcome sign that opens with “Farewell to the twenties”, a “Let's celebrate” sign, a milestone sign with the name, date, time and venue, a cards and gifts sign, a “Wishes for” sign where guests write a note for the years ahead, a “Morgan turns 30” cake topper, initial cupcake toppers, letter pennants with a photo opening, food labels such as “Dark chocolate tart”, water bottle labels with the name and venue, “Farewell to the twenties” chocolate bar labels, thank-you cards and “Thank you for celebrating” tags. Each piece is a separate generation; the full sample set is shown below.
