A gold ring swinging across folds of black satin, with gold spheres and small stars in orbit around it — an after-dark invitation for a fiftieth worth dressing up for.

A double gold line runs around the edge of the black card, its corners scooped inward, with a small gold dot just outside each one. “A Golden Evening” fills the top in two lines, and a thin gold rule with a four-pointed star at its center separates it from “James Turns 50”. Below the name, folds of black satin drape across the middle of the card from edge to edge, and a broad gold ring, tilted steeply like the ring of a planet, loops over them so the fabric seems to flow through it. Fine concentric circles, some solid and some dotted, spread out behind the ring like orbits, and textured gold spheres and open gold circles hang on both sides, the largest sphere low on the left. Four-pointed stars and tiny gold dots are scattered through the dark. The details sit at the bottom in a black panel with scooped corners and its own double gold border, with a small star at the top and bottom of the frame.
The finish is foil on black stock: the headline, the ring and the spheres all have a hammered metallic surface with small flecks and an uneven sheen, while the satin is rendered softly and realistically, its folds catching dim charcoal highlights. A fine grain runs through the black ground, so the card looks like heavy paper rather than a flat screen fill, and the thin orbit lines and stars add a quiet celestial geometry to an otherwise simple layout. Apart from the warm white of the name and details, the palette is only black, charcoal and gold, and pairing satin with gold recalls the lining of a jewelry box, which gives the card the hush of a formal evening. No people are drawn and there is no photo slot, so it fits any guest of honor.
“A Golden Evening” is set in large, high-contrast serif capitals in textured gold, with sharp serifs and hairline strokes, and its two lines stretch nearly the full width of the border. “James Turns 50” follows in much smaller, widely spaced warm white sans-serif capitals, plain enough to read at a glance against the black. Inside the panel, warm white serif capitals give “Saturday, June 19”, “7:00 - 11:00 PM”, “The Grand Salon” and “RSVP in Inviti by June 12”, each line set off from the next by a thin gold rule with a tiny star at its center.

Every piece below was made in this design with Inviti. Matching pieces are a Pro feature, and each one you request is a separate generation, so yours will follow this direction without being pixel-identical.

It will follow this design's direction: large gold serif capitals and a white name line above a tilted gold ring crossing folds of black satin, with fine orbit lines, gold spheres and small stars, and the details in a gold-framed black panel inside a double gold border. Because Inviti generates each invitation with AI from your details, the arrangement and lettering can differ from this sample.
Yes. Fifty appears only in the name line, “James Turns 50”; the satin, ring, spheres and stars carry no number, and “A golden evening” suits any age. Enter a line like “Ellen turns 60” or “Marcus turns 40” with your details, then check the number and every other line in the version Inviti generates before you send it.
It can. Nothing in the artwork belongs to a birthday: there is no cake, no candles and no balloons, only black satin, gold and stars, and the sample headline “A golden evening” already reads like a golden anniversary. Replace the name line with something like “Ruth and Walter, fifty years” and add your date, time and venue, then proofread the generated text before you share it.
Yes. The invitation is designed at 5×7 inches, and the app's print preparation can lay out copies on A4 or US Letter with crop marks. Dark designs print best on matte paper; generate at full resolution rather than the introductory 1K size.
With Pro you can request matching pieces such as an “Evening menu” card, a welcome sign that repeats “A golden evening” with the name and venue, a “Let's celebrate” sign, a milestone sign with the name, date, time and venue, a cards and gifts sign, a “Wishes for” sign where guests write a note for the years ahead, a “James turns 50” cake topper, initial cupcake toppers, letter pennants with a photo opening, food labels such as “Chocolate mousse”, water bottle labels with the name and venue, “A golden evening” chocolate bar labels, thank-you cards and “Thank you for celebrating” tags. Each piece is a separate generation; the full sample set is shown below.
