Towering condensed type in coral, charcoal and cobalt, a giant lowercase a and bold flat circles on cream — a poster-style shower invitation that stands a likeness of the parent-to-be, drawn from one photo, beside the words “A new chapter”.

The left side of the card belongs to the type. “A new” runs across the top in towering condensed capitals, the A in coral and NEW in charcoal, with “Chapter” stacked beneath it in cobalt at the same height and a thin coral rule underneath. Lower down, four rows of details each start with a small round badge: a calendar on charcoal, a location pin on cobalt, a music note on coral and a heart on charcoal again, with a hairline coral rule between the rows. In the sample, the parent-to-be stands on the right at a slight angle in a cobalt blazer over a matching ribbed top and trousers, one hand resting on top of the bump and the other beneath it, with a small closed-lip smile for the camera. Nothing frames the figure: it stands straight against the cream and runs off the bottom and right edges. Giant flat shapes crowd the edges behind it, from a thick charcoal arc sweeping through the top right corner and coral curves along the right edge to an enormous cobalt lowercase a at the lower left, cropped by the card's edge, with charcoal showing behind it and a coral half-circle tucked into the bottom corner.
Everything apart from the portrait is flat color with crisp edges, without texture, shading or gradients, so the card looks more like a gallery poster or a design-magazine cover than a typical shower card. The portrait is the one photographic element, evenly lit like a studio shot, and in the sample the head-to-toe cobalt outfit is the same blue as “Chapter” and the giant a, so the figure reads as part of the color scheme rather than something laid on top of it. Outside the photo, just four colors do all the work: warm cream paper, charcoal, cobalt and coral, each used in big, confident blocks, with coral also carrying the thin rules and the small accents. There are no baby pastels, animals or nursery motifs anywhere, which makes the mood bold and celebratory, closer to a launch party than a nursery. Alex is a fictional sample: in your version Inviti AI draws a likeness of the parent-to-be from your photo in that place, one face only, and the matching pieces bring the shapes, colors and type without any portrait.
The headline is a tall, tightly condensed sans-serif in heavy capitals, so large that “A new” and “Chapter” fill the upper third of the left side, and splitting the phrase into coral, charcoal and cobalt makes it read in three beats. “Celebrating Alex” follows in coral, in a wider, rounder sans-serif with generous letter spacing, just below the coral rule. The details are set in compact charcoal condensed capitals, each beside its badge: “Sunday, October 3 · 2 PM” by the calendar, “Studio North · Brooklyn” by the pin, “Bites · Music · Baby wishes” by the music note and “RSVP by September 19” by the heart. The badges line up with the left edge of the headline, which gives the whole column the tidy order of the fine print on an event poster.

Every piece below was made in this design with Inviti. Matching pieces are a Pro feature, and each one you request is a separate generation, so yours will follow this direction without being pixel-identical.

It will follow this design's direction: a generated likeness of the parent-to-be beside oversized condensed capitals in coral, charcoal and cobalt, a giant cobalt lowercase a and bold charcoal and coral shapes on cream paper, with the details in rows beside round icon badges and thin coral rules. Because Inviti generates each invitation with AI from your details, the arrangement and lettering can differ from this sample.
One clear, well-lit photo of the parent-to-be with nobody else in it. The design requires it, and Inviti AI won't make the invitation without one, so if you're hosting, ask the guest of honor for a picture first. Alex in the sample is fictional: Inviti AI redraws the right side of the card with the person from your photo in that place, aiming to keep their recognizable features, hair and expression, while the shapes, the layout and your wording stay as they are. You get a generated likeness, not your photo cut out and set on the cream, and the design shows a single face, so couple shots and group pictures won't suit it. It doesn't have to come from a professional shoot; what matters is that the face is sharp, evenly lit and not hidden by sunglasses, a hat or hair. Look closely at the face and read every line before you share it, and ask for a change if anything looks wrong. The matching pieces are graphics only, with no portrait.
Your details, one per row. In the sample, the calendar badge sits beside “Sunday, October 3 · 2 PM”, the pin beside “Studio North · Brooklyn”, the music note beside “Bites · Music · Baby wishes” and the heart beside “RSVP by September 19”. Those are only sample lines, so enter your own day, venue and plans; short lines of a few words fit the rows best, and a plans line of three short items separated by dots, such as “Brunch · games · baby wishes”, keeps the rhythm of the sample. “Celebrating Alex” above the rows can name the parent-to-be or welcome the baby instead, as in “Welcoming baby June”. In the version Inviti generates, check that each line sits beside the right icon, and ask for a change if it doesn't.
Yes. The invitation is designed at 5×7 inches, and the app's print preparation can lay out copies on A4 or US Letter with crop marks. For the sharpest print, generate at full resolution rather than the introductory 1K size.
With Pro you can request matching pieces such as a “Bites menu” card (the sample lists roasted veggie wraps, citrus salad, chocolate cake and sparkling lemonade), a “Welcome” sign with “A new chapter” and the date, a milestone sign with “A new chapter” and the guest of honor's name, a “Cards & gifts” sign, a “Wishes for baby” sign, a “Please sign our guest book” sign, an “A new chapter” cake topper, “Baby” cupcake toppers, “Baby” letter banner flags with an empty photo opening, food labels such as “Chocolate cake”, water bottle labels with “A new chapter” and the date, “A sweet thank you” chocolate bar labels, and “Thank you” cards and tags with the parent-to-be's name, all drawn as graphics without the portrait. Each piece is a separate generation; the full sample set is shown below.
